The battery life of a STIHL cordless power tool depends on the battery used, among other things. For example, a STIHL MSA 120 C-BQ cordless chainsaw with the recommended AK 20 battery lasts for up to 40 minutes, and can even achieve a battery life of up to 55 minutes when equipped with an AK 30 battery. You can find a complete list detailing the battery life for each of our STIHL cordless power tools in the tables below. All STIHL cordless power tools in the AS-System, AI-Line and AK-System are ideal for use in your own garden or in garden centres and nurseries.

The battery life of these cordless power tools is particularly suitable for professional use in landscaping, garden care and tree maintenance or for municipal work. Battery charging times in minutes
The charging times of batteries are not determined solely by their capacity – the charger also has an impact on battery charging time. For example, the charging time for the STIHL AK 10 battery with the AL 101 charger is 95 minutes, while with the AL 300 charger the battery is fully charged in just 45 minutes. The table below shows which charger suits which STIHL battery and indicates the charging time required to reach a battery level of 80% and 100%.
